How DOES POSITIVE SELF TALK HELP WITH ReprogramING THE MIND?

Positive self-talk is rooted in cognitive psychology and neuroscience, with its benefits backed by scientific research. Here are some ways it helps:

  • Neuroplasticity: This is the brain's ability to rewire itself by forming new neural connections in response to thoughts, behaviors, and experiences. Practicing positive self-talk helps reinforce neural pathways associated with optimism and constructive thinking.

  • Cognitive reframing: By consciously replacing negative thoughts with positive ones, you're training your brain to interpret situations in a healthier way, shifting focus from threats or failures to opportunities and strengths.

HOW Much Time DOES IT TAKE?

Listening to a positive self talk session doesn't take long at all. You can listen to it while you drive, shower, when you first wake up, wash dishes. The idea is, sending at least 5 mintes a day to listen to start to notice a change in the way you think.

How Long does it take to notice a difference?

Repetition and consistency is Key! Especially in the morning. Mornings are the best time to start our day before the negative thoughts start to kick in. So listening daily in the morning for at least a moneth, will help alot.

HOW DOES IT HELP WITH NEGATIVE THOUGHTS?

Humans naturally pay more attention to negative information as a survival mechanism, this is called the negativity bias. Positive self-talk helps counteract this bias, retraining the brain to process positive or neutral information more effectively. Regular practice reduces the likelihood of automatic negative thoughts (ANTs), leading to improved emotional regulation.
